With the abundance of blogs available, the idea is to submit as wisely as possible as to prevent your blog disappearing in an Ocean Of Blogs.  Here are a few guidelines:

Topic:  Most blog directories are listed by the topics that submitted blogs that cover.  Be as accurate as possible, and when give the chance to choose sub-topics, do so.

You never know what you will find when you browsing through the directories, and you may just find out information that you never knew.
