The controversy with paid blogging is more of an issue of the trust a reader has in the blog they read. One of the great things about paid blogging is that the offers/opps give you some great writing prompts. Well there is no doubt in my mind that paid blogging is here to stay and it will definitely have the potential to create many future bloggers who are paid for their writing. Blogging has becoming a way for regular “Joes” to generate an income. Profiting from paid blogging is rewarding not only for bloggers, but for advertisers as well. It’s there in black and white, no longer a poll has to be taken on how people feel and react to certain topics, for example the War in Iraqi. Read the blogs, that will tell you how true people feel. Blogging provides a name with a voice not just a percentage of a majority or minority. Video blogging or live blogging provides a voice with that name to see the emotion as the person actually feels it.New products Another way that a company can use blogging to advertise their business is to put the information about new products on their blog. This is a great way to get people interested in what they have to offer and let them know what is going on with the company. Blogging is something that has a lot of great uses. It’s something that can allow people to let people know what is going on in their lives and keep in touch with others. It’s also something that allows customers to leave feedback for the company and for the company to tell people about their new products.Beyond merely exposing your website to more people through a blogging traffic campaign or plan you also can create a buzz about your website. It gets them a staff of sales people, and the affiliates make money.Creating an affiliate blog is simple. Pick a product which sells well, and create a blog on the product’s theme. It’s not usually advisable to use the name of the product in your blog’s title, even if you can get the company’s written approval. Your blog becomes more valuable the longer it’s online, and in the months and years to come, you may stop promoting a particular product: this would mean that your blog would be useless if it’s too tightly focused on a single product.Article marketing is very effective through blogging as well. Informational articles can be posted through the blog, therefore putting fresh content on the site. Blog Marketing Miracles: How To Bring Sales To Your Business Through A Weblog

April 22, 2010 - 2:03 am No Comments

An increasing number of business entities are actively using blogs as part of their marketing strategy. Why? Blogging is providing them the ability to connect with their audience thus encouraging goodwill which in turn helps bring sales.
Marketing through Blogging
It is nothing you have not heard for quite some time now. Blogging has caused quite a stir. It has, in fact, continued to proliferate rapidly. In early days, a blog is just a personal online diary. It is a place to publish one’s thoughts, to collect and share things that one finds interesting. It is a venue to express one’s rants, raves and musings. Today, professional and amateur journalists, political pundits, business honchos, entertainers, everybody seems to be blogging. Blogs are now being used to promote a business, run a political campaign, elicit publicity, among others.
A blog or weblog is an online diary of events arranged in reverse chronological order. The author of a blog is known as a blogger and writing or maintaining a blog is referred to as blogging. An individual entry or article is called a post and is available in the form of a blog page for the public to read. A blog may have a commentary box for readers to leave comments or opinions. These comments act as stimulus for further conversations. A business or corporate blog is simply a blog about a specific business. It is an effective medium for communicating with current and potential customers to share knowledge and expertise and foster relationships.
A company that employs a well-planned blogging strategy can spur significant market gains and sales earnings. Marketing is not just promoting a product or service. More importantly, it is about understanding the needs and wants of customers and developing products or services that satisfy these needs and wants effectively.
A blog enables a company to reach out to current and potential customers, in a more personal way. A blog builds connection and links between the company and its key audience which helps the company use this network over time to improve overall business. A business blog especially if regularly updated can inform readers about a company product or service, information, industry news, tips, tutorials or company developments. Links to industry-related stories can also be found in a blog. The way the targeted audience responds to these information or content is important to any company.
A blog is a good venue for customers to air issues, concerns and give comments. Through a blog, customers can give their own inputs. A company can hear directly from customers and understand what they desire to get from a product or service. Sometimes, the most well-intentioned product under perform because of lack of customer feedback. With blogging, a company can ask for feedbacks, albeit not the whole world, but at least the blogging community. Once a company has insights into what a large community thinks of the product or service, the company can then further improve the product or service to meet customer requirements. After all, customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.
A company who listens and responds to customer feedbacks conveys the message that there is somebody who listens behind an otherwise faceless company. Because a blog is conversational, it gives the company a human voice.
This assures customers that there is a “real” person who will take care of their needs. Customers will feel an affinity with the company. Regular visits brought about by regular updates thru fresh blog entries will familiarize the customers with the company and make them feel that they personally know the company. In due time, trust and loyalty is built and relationships fostered. As we all know people generally buy products or avail the services of people they know and trust. Rest assure that return visits to the blog, maybe for more information will transpire even after a purchase has been made. As they say, customer loyalty is the end-all-be-all of marketing.
A company that utilizes customer ideas, feedbacks, and opinions can further satisfy customer needs and wants and thus facilitates goodwill in the blogging community. It is standard practice in blogging to provide a link to a thought originator which is important because backlinks are a method for search engines to rank a blog. Search engine ranking is very important. Google and Yahoo are two of the most popular search engines.
A blog is typically written daily thus the blog post is new. The search engines index the new post more often than the regular website. The result is a high rank compared to a website. If a company has a product to promote and publishes blog posts about the product regularly, chances are one of the blog posts will be found by readers who may be looking for information about the product. Hopefully, after reading the blog post, the potential customer will visit the company website and make a purchase online or buy the product in a “brick and mortar” store. Marketers acknowledge that potential customers can be customers once they find the information they want about a product from the company’s blog.
Another feature of a blog why search engines love it is a blog’s high number of incoming links. Bloggers link to other blogs, articles and websites. The reading audience is exposed to a plethora of information. Bloggers, thus, create and retain a loyal following of readers. PageRanks for blogs are usually very strong too. As you and I know, high search engine ranking translates to high traffic and more sales leads.
Generating Sales from Blogging
The way to get the most from blogging is by building a strong brand. A brand is simply value for the customer. It is good customer service and products or services that will satisfy customer needs and wants. A blog can help a company demonstrates its expertise in its industry or field. Blogs do create buzz about a company’s authority in its niche. A blog connects a company to its target audience and peers and starts a more dynamic conversation with the marketplace. A blog helps to show a company’s value, its online brand on the web. Once a company has built a strong brand, sales will just follow.
Publishing a blog will not automatically generate higher sales. However, it is an efficient way to communicate with customers and prospects. A blog in itself is an excellent tool to support a business, provide value, build relationships and establish brand and image. The ultimate purpose of a blog is to brand, to communicate and to connect. Increased sales should only be viewed as a positive indirect effect of a successful blog.

Here are some great tips to use when trying to get your blog out there and get new readers. You’ll discover workable tips and secrets of how to build successful blog and earn money with your blog.

1) The first key for your successful in blog online marketing is to update your blog frequently. We can not put enough emphasis on this tip. If you tell your readers that you are going to update your blog daily, then do it. If you tell them that you will be writing in your blog weekly, don’t let them down. Your readers are what make your blog successful. You may not realize this in the beginning, and you will have few readers in the beginning as well, but you will eventually build a readership base and have people checking out your blog regularly. Maybe you do not plan on telling your readers how often you will update your blog. That is ok too. However, think about this, if you were reading a blog on a weekly basis, and you expected to see the blog that you like to read updated at least once a week, you would be very disappointed to find out that it was not. Sure, things happen that might prevent you from updating, and that is expected, and excused, but week after week can hurt you and cause you to lose readers.

2) You are going to want to be sure that all of your posts are formatted. Doing so will leave out any confusion for the search engines and you will have everything nice and neat and all organized. The label tags are there for a reason when you are dealing with blogs. So using them and not leaving them out is a great idea.

3) I would recommend you to ensure that your blog has the track back feature. Let me tell you why. When you have the track back feature on your blog, you are allowing other people to link back to your blog. Maybe someone has a post to post on their blog that is relevant to one of yours. They can use the talkback to your post, and send their readers to your blog so that they know what they are referring to. Another good thing to remember is that if someone gives you a track back, it is a courtesy to return that to their blog if at all possible.

4) Having a Google account and submitting a sitemap is almost a must when you are blog online marketing. Doing so will allow Google to know how often you are updating your blog and they will automatically know of any changes that you have made to it as well. This will let Google get those new pages indexed faster and get them into search results much quicker than if you did not have the sitemap. There is a certain way you have to do the sitemap for Google, and they can explain that to you. Just know this is an important step to blog online marketing.

5) Exchanging links with authority blogs and websites that are in your same market is another great way to get the word out about your blog. The authority sites are going to have a higher page rank, and will also be listed high in Google’s search results. So do some searches and check those out and see if they are up to exchanging links. If they are not, you could always just add those into your blogroll. You do not need permission to do that if they are not into linking. However, in the world of blogs, most blog owners are thankful for all links, and are willing to return the favour.

6) Tracking is another part of blog marketing that is so very important. You want to be able to track your visitors and clickers to know where they are coming from. You want to be able to tell what keywords they searched on to find your blog and where they did their searching. Doing so will help take out all of the guess work when it comes to blog marketing. You will know what keywords are working, and which are not.

7) Allowing RSS feeds from your blog is also another great blog online marketing tool. You are going to find that when you allow RSS feeds, your blog is going to end up all over the internet with a link back to it and that is a good thing. This is a wonderful way to get links to your blog with little or no effort. People that subscribe to your blog’s RSS feeds are able to then post your blog posts on their sites or blogs. This in return gives you a link on their site or page that they have you on.
8) While you are working on your readership base, and trying to gain readers, you are going to find that commenting on blogs that are relevant to yours will surely help. Find a blog that is on the same topic to yours, or close to it and leave comments. You can also make a track back with your blog postings to comment on your own blog. Doing so will probably more than likely give someone else the urge to track back to your blog. This will be good for it as well. Commenting on blogs that get many comments will make your blog seen by those interested in that market. You will gain traffic and readers that way, and it is easy as well as free.

9) Learn and apply SEO to your blogs. SEO is search engine optimization. You are going to find that if you want your blog to go anywhere, you need SEO, and you need to know how to use it to the advantage of your blog. Just like a website, a blog will be better off optimized.

As it became more and more popular, online advertising tapped into the tremendous potential and ever growing audience. Doing business online today by blogging, is a smart choice for the following 5 reasons.

1. Blogging is easy.

The simplest way to get your information, your products, and your services on the Internet is through blogging. No special skills are required… an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse. Think of a blog as a virtual tablet of paper and you simply write your ideas, experiences, new products, and service descriptions down and if well written, the truth behind your articles will entice your readers, or blog visitors, to want to know more about you and what you have to offer. So basically, if you have a computer and an Internet connection (who doesn’t?) then you can blog and advertise.

However, in the , your blog content will represent a Blogging and Internet Marketingmore personal aspect of who you are and what you have to offer, establishing your credibility up-front. Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience. Consumers definitely want to buy a tried and tested product. Your potential customers will “get to know you” first, then naturally want to buy from you once you earn their trust.

3. Blogging is free.

Blogging about your experiences and skills in a particular industry, regularly, will ensure your readers they can depend on you to give them what they want. As such, you become an expert that they routinely turn to; the benefit is that more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blog. 5. Blogging builds your market share.

Unless you are already famous, chances are, only your Mom and close friends are reading your blog. Mom has a lot of friends, and your friends have friends, and they let them know how interesting your blog site is, but you can’t depend on this circle of blog visitors to sustain your profit base for long. You should be using the following to build your market:

-E-mail – Today, is rapidly surpassing the popularity and effectiveness of email to quickly and effectively reach your target market. In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading email is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog. Long gone are the days where we email pages and pages of information. You can now, simply shoot a very short email with a link to your blog where they can find the information in its’ entirety. Also be sure to include a signature in every email you send, to anyone, with a link to your blog.

A simple survey, every few months will aid you in keeping your finger on the pulse of what your readers will benefit from the most. Additionally, you’ll be able to gather profile information and advertising preferences. By asking your readers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared, it’s like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview. Your readers will also appreciate the fact that you care, and you are willing to listen to them, especially when you implement things on your blog specific to their feedback.

-Join a blog network Be active and productively participate in a that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc. Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject. The links back from these relative blogs will improve your search engine optimization and at the same time, help build even stronger credibility for you with your blogging audience.

Automate Blog Posting Like Never Before!

November 12, 2009 - 9:21 am No Comments
Davin Ogden asked:

Today, the ability to automate blog posting is a cinch! Software developers have improved to a great extent recently to help people with their blogging. If you used to “pull out your hair” trying to implement this type of software, be rest assured, this is a thing of the past. Invariably, more often than not, when these types of softwares were made public before, they usually met with very meager results. For the most part, the anticipation was greater than the use of the softwares, and we’d end up doing things the old fashioned way just as before.

Thankfully, those days are gone, we can finally rejoice in the fact that we have modern tools which are very effective to automate blog posting. Many people are concerned with the reasons as to why the need to automate blog posting?

Blogging today isn’t just about a way to share information, pictures, and the latest gossip with family and friends. Blogging has become serious business for many people. How Can I Make Money Online.Quickly?

September 1, 2009 - 6:19 am No Comments
Lisa Grove asked:

Are you sick and tired of having to deal with the tough financial times? Do you want to know how the ‘other guys’ do it? How do they make all that money online? Have you ever asked yourself :’How can I make money online quickly?’ Well, you can, and I can show you how.

Imagine what it would be like to get up in the morning when you decide to, not when the alarm clock screams at you. What would it be like if your average ‘work day’ was only a couple of hours long? What would you do if you had plenty of money and plenty of time? These are questions most of us aren’t used to asking ourselves, but if you really want to know how to make money online quickly, and are ready to put what you learn to use, you had better learn to start thinking that way.

There are many ways to make money online quickly. I’ll list a few of the most common ways.

You could sell products on an auction site. This is probably what most people think of when you talk about an online business. This is a good way to make money, but there are some things you have to be aware of.

Selling on an auction site is by no means a sure thing. Your item may not sell and you won’t get back your listing fee if it doesn’t. You also need a source to provide a steady stream of products to sell.

Another very popular way to make money online quickly is with paid survey sites. There are several ways these sites work, one type involves you completing various offers. Some of the offers are free, some you will have to pay for. You can make money almost immediately on some of these sites.

The downside to survey sites, though, is that you probably won’t ever make a full time income. This is a better idea is you only want to make a few hundred dollars a month.

To really make money online quickly… a full time income, I recommend affiliate marketing. This is simply when you sell someone else’s products for a commission. Most affiliate marketing marketplaces will give you a free replicated website when you sign up to promote a certain product. That means you can have a website to send people to and a product to promote and it’s all absolutely free.

These are all good ways to make money online quickly. But no matter what method you choose there is one important factor you can’t forget: marketing. No matter how great your product or service you need a steady stream of qualified customers or you won’t make any money. Even if you have the absolute best website in the world, you won’t make any money without customers who are eager to buy your products.

I know this probably sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised by the number of people who think they can just put a website online and the customers will magically appear. Marketing online isn’t hard, as

a matter of fact, there are very effective free methods you can use to generate a steady stream of customers.

I hope this brief overview helped give you a better idea of how to make money online quickly. No matter what type of business you choose, don’t forget to take the time to educate yourself on Internet marketing. You need customers to make money and marketing is the way you’ll get them!

July 1, 2009 - 1:27 pm No Comments

Stop pushing your message out and start pulling your customers in

Traditional “outbound” marketing methods like cold-calling, email blasts, advertising, and direct mail are increasingly less effective. People are getting better at blocking these interruptions out using Caller ID, spam protection, TiVo, etc. People are now increasingly turning to Google, social media, and blogs to find products and services. Inbound Marketing helps you take advantage of this change by showing you how to get found by customers online.

Inbound Marketing is a how-to guide to getting found via Google, the blogosphere, and social media sites.

• Improve your rankings in Google to get more traffic
• Build and promote a blog for your business
• Grow and nurture a community in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
• Measure what matters and do more of what works online

The rules of marketing have changed, and your business can benefit from this change. Inbound Marketing shows you how to get found by more prospects already looking for what you have to sell.
